Job Description and Qualifications

Biller/Collector

Read, understand and explain EOB’s to patients. Create and submit insurance claims
on behalf of patients. Ensure accurate entry of all work into the designated computer system. Complete claim forms, submit bills and claims, perform quality control procedures on all claim forms and detail bills to ensure accurate billing. Research and obtain incomplete or additional information for billing requirements. Run daily or monthly reports.

Senior Biller/Supervisor

Ensure all patient accounting activities are performed and executed in a timely manner
and in accordance with approved IHO policies. Handle day-to-day department issues. Balance charges, payments and adjustments within system. Balance charges, payments and
adjustments within system. Run month end reports and files appropriately.
